ABOUT ME

Jonelle Robinson is an actor, teaching artist, youth theatre producer and director from Queens, New York. As an actor, she has most recently performed at Signature Theatre, The Public Theater, New Ohio Theater, The Cherry Lane Theater, and Episcopal Actor's Guild. She has also appeared in several commercials, including Purell, My Heritage DNA and Johnson & Johnson Band-Aids. As a teaching artist and youth theatre worker, she has devised, directed and produced theatre with kids and teens in NYC and Long Island, most recently working with Brooklyn Children's Theatre. She also co-created PiT Theatrical in 2014, a non-profit youth theatre performance group based in Long Island, NY, in conjunction with The Port Washington Children's Center and The Jeanne Rimsky Theater. Performance, education and community engagement are tremendous passions of hers; all three have lead to her work with sheltered youth and adults seeking basic level education in NYC. When she is not performing or teaching, she is making and selling her spicy and flavorful Mango Pepper Sauce called MARVETTA! BFA in acting from Ithaca College.
